4th of July Color Run

America's birthday here in Japan was a rainy one, but that didn't stop Bern, Kristine, J.R. and a few of their co-workers from participating in the 4th of July Color Run on base.

 
It was a 4K walk/run where participants got plastered in colored powder before and during the race. It was quite entertaining seeing all of them get covered by the stuff; and I even managed to get hit up by some of the powder as I was trying to open up the bag.

As soon as the race leaders gave the signal, they were off in the huge cloud of powered smoke. The rain didn't make things easier, but Bern and the rest of the crew just "powdered" through it and had a lot of fun in the process!
